This soap is made with local craft beer from Santa Fe Brewing Co, which is mixed with the lye instead of using water. The beer does not retain its aroma, but does impart sugars into the solution that create wonderful lather and the hops have properties that benefit your skin as well.
While the beer used does not provide any scent whatsoever, we added a fragrance oil that smells like a freshly poured beer. It's actually quite delicious (and I'm not a beer drinker!)
